Madonna Music Sunday - 02/24/2013

So today is Oscar Sunday, the day that the film industry awards the best of the year in film. This year's awards show will be filled with music performances and tributes to movie musicals. So I thought it only fair to share my all-time favorite music performance from an Oscar telecast. Madonna Music Monday - 02/11/2013

Last night was the 55th Annual Grammy Awards. It was not a good telecast. Maybe my taste in music has shifted. Maybe modern music doesn't impress me anymore. For one thing, the opening number by Taylor Swift was boring and lame. And her supposed on-air jab at an ex-boyfriend just came off as class-less and desperate.

So for today I wanted to share a great opening performance to a Grammy show. So here is a combo performance from Gorillaz and Madonna at the 2006 Grammy show. Enjoy!!!

Madonna Music Monday - 02/04/2013

So last night, the Baltimore Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers 34-31. Congrats to the Ravens for the win. I'm sure they are making their way down to Disney World to be in today's Main Street parade. Also at last night's Superbowl, Beyonce performed for the Half-Time Show. While the show was 'enteratining', it comes no where close to the amazing performance that was showcased last year. So here's a little reminder of what a Half-Time Show should be.
