Madonna Music Monday - 01/31/2011

25 years ago, I attended my 1st music concert. It was July 31st 1987. It was held at Chicago's Soldier Field. It was Madonna's second tour, her 1st world tour. It was Madonna's Who's That Girl Tour. Memories of that concert live in my mind non-stop. This tour also features one of my favorite opening numbers. That song is Open Your Heart. I loved how the opening number was a direct tribute to the video of the same song. I love the whole 'peep-show' motif. So here is Madonna live in concert in the opening number of her Who's That Girl World Tour singing Open Your Heart. Enjoy!!!

Disney California Adventure's Animated Park Map Preview

Here is a new video showing what California Adventure will look like once all the refurbs and upgrades are done. This is a pretty cool video. Plus it's great to have a 'moving' preview of the park. Enjoy!!!

Madonna Music Monday - 01/24/2011

Well it seems that Madonna & Prince have finally ended a years old feud. To be honest, I've never heard about this 'feud'. So I read Madonna said that Prince just sat at dinner and didn't eat a thing while they were on a date. Prince said that he had more hits than Madonna had kids. Madonna did used to call Prince 'midget'. So is all this worth being called a feud? Well at least these two have decided to put all this stuff behind them. Maybe they'll record more music now. Here is a video featuring one of the two songs they recorded. Here is Madonna and Prince singing LOVE SONG from Madonna's Like A Prayer album...Enjoy!

The Animation Building @ The Walt Disney Studios...

One of the rare treats that a Disney fan can have is taking a tour of the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California. I was lucky to have such an opportunity. The occasion was the release of Disney's The Princess & The Frog. I was able to attend a rare film screening at the Walt Disney Studios. After the screening, there was a meet and greet with ALL the Disney Princesses, including Princess Tiana. While at the meet & greet, it was announced that mini tours were available for people who were interested. How could I pass this up? In this video clip we walk thru the legendary Animation Building, where many of Disney's films were created. Enjoy!

A Walk Thru a Rainy Disneyland...

So the day was October 5th 2010. The occasion was to attend Disneyland's Halloween Party. However the weather was not being kind. It had been raining for a few days, and the night we went to Disneyland it was still raining. But by the time things got underway at Disneyland, the rain had stopped long enough so that we can see the Halloween fireworks and the night-time parade. From this video, you can see that we walked from Main Street thru Adventureland to New Orleans Square to ride the Pirates of the Caribbean. Since we had dressed up as pirates for the party, we thought it would only make sense that the 1st ride of the night would be Pirates of the Caribbean. An excellent way to start the festivities during Disneyland's Halloween Party! Enjoy!

Madonna Music Monday - 01/10/2011

With the events that took place over the weekend in Arizona, I thought I would share a song of HOPE. We must NEVER use violence as a method to express our beliefs or differences. We can discuss matters and work towards a solution...TOGETHER. My thoughts and prayers are with those families who were affected by the violence in Arizona.

Happy New Year...2011!!!

Well 2011 is finally here. The start of a new year, a new decade, a new chapter in life. I wanna share this video on this special day. The video features clips from the WB series SMALLVILLE, one of my favorite shows which happens to be ending this year. But what's more important is the song used in this video. It's Lea Salonga's version of the Barry Manilow classic, It's Just Another New Year's Eve. I want you to just listen to the song. Hopefully you can take the lyrics to heart and use this song as motivation for the New Year. I only wish the best for everyone in the coming year. Enjoy!
