For today's video, I wanted to share what I think is one of Madonna's perfectly produced pop songs. Papa Don't Preach, released in June of 1986 and from Madonna's 3rd album TRUE BLUE, is a great combo of powerful lyrics, smart musical production and great vocals. From the opening strings, the heart-beat drum machine and the soulful melody, Papa Don't Preach is Madonna at her best. The video of the song only further demonstrates Madonna as a visual artist. She looks amazing with her platinum blond hair and alabaster white skin. So here is Madonna doing what she does best: beautifully singing an amazingly written song. Enjoy!!
