Madonna Music Monday - 09/03/2012

For today's video, I wanted to share one of the reasons why I love Madonna. La Isla Bonita is the first Madonna song to use Latin elements. It uses Latin rhythms, instruments and lyrics. There have been many Latin-themed songs since La Isla Bonita, but this was the first one to make an impact. Its a beautiful song that romanticizes the Latin culture. So the video I want to share is one of the best live performances of this song, in my opinion. This performance is taken from Madonna's 2001 Drowned World Tour. It's one of Madonna's most straight-forward performances of this song. Here is Madonna having fun on guitar singing La Isla Bonita, from her third album TRUE BLUE. Enjoy!
