If there is one thing I love about Madonna, its how she presents her music in a live setting. Some of my fave Madonna performances were those that she performed for MTV. My all-time favorite is when Madonna 1st performed EXPRESS YOURSELF on the MTV Video Music Awards in 1989. The performance is just AMAZING. From the choreography, the costumes and her singing, it just all goes together perfectly. Of course this would be a preview of the opening for her upcoming Blond Ambition Tour in 1990.
