For today's selection, I wanted to share the 1st Madonna song to appear in a film. In 1984, Madonna was hired to record two songs for the 1985 film VISION QUEST. The 1st song from the film is a beautiful ballad. It's actually Madonna's 1st ballad hit. With this song, she proved she was not some 'dance-pop queen'.
